The problem

Navigating the complexity of website trackers

As regulators ramp up their scrutiny of website controls and businesses grapple with the ever-expanding complexity of tags and trackers, ensuring full visibility and compliance has never been more critical, or more challenging. The proliferation of hidden cookies, unmonitored tags, and sprawling data practices across digital properties can leave even the most diligent organizations exposed to regulatory risks and consumer mistrust. Ketch Third Party Risk Intelligence provides automated, proactive tracker scanning to bring clarity and control to your website's tracking landscape so that you can stay ahead of regulators and respect consumer consent preferences.

Scan, classify, disclose

Product features

Everything privacy and marketing teams need to scan, classify, and keep disclosures accurate without writing code.

Comprehensive scanning across your digital properties

Your tracker profile page provides detailed information about every tracker, cookie, and tag: origin, type, associated purposes, disclosure and blocking status, and more. Ketch tracker scanning conducts automated, proactive scanning so you never have to worry about missing items.

Intuitive user interface and summary dashboard

The tracker scanning homepage provides a bird's-eye view of all your digital properties, showing current tracker statuses, new trackers requiring review, and any outstanding issues. All tasks can be completed in this no-code, intuitive user interface, easy to use for any non-technical stakeholder.

Automatic new tracker detection and classification

When a new tracker is found, Ketch Platform categorizes it and automatically assigns a recommended processing purpose (such as advertising or analytics). All you need to do is review and confirm mappings. Bulk actions enable you to complete these reviews in a snap.

Automatic removal recommendations for dormant trackers

Avoid bloated, outdated lists of tags in use with automatic notification. When a previously categorized tracker has failed to register in scanning for 180 days, Ketch will proactively notify you and propose removal and/or un-disclosure of the tracker from your consent notices and policies.

Beyond page inventory

Third Party Risk Intelligence that keeps scanning, classification, and disclosures in sync

Everything privacy and marketing teams need to keep classifications accurate and disclosures up to date, without writing code.

Complete tracker profiles

See origin, type, purposes, disclosure status, and blocking status for every tracker, cookie, and tag, so nothing important stays buried in a raw crawl list.

Automatic detection and classification

When marketing adds a new privacy-related tag, Ketch detects it, assigns a recommended purpose, such as advertising or analytics, and queues it for review as part of bulk actions to clear the backlog.

180-day dormant tracker signal

Trackers that fail to register for 180 days trigger removal and un-disclosure recommendations, so consent notices and policies do not list tags you no longer run.

Opt-out validation

When consumers opt out, privacy-related tags and cookies should stop firing. The free Privacy Health Check shows in minutes whether banner choices actually connect to tag management.

No-code summary dashboard

A bird's-eye view across digital properties for current statuses, new trackers requiring review, and outstanding issues, built for non-technical stakeholders.

Complete scanning coverage

Iris: the patent-pending algorithm behind every Ketch scan

Most scanning tools are judged on how many pages they crawl, but page count measures scanning effort, not tracker coverage. Rare trackers cluster at the seams between site sections (a checkout flow, a help center, a video page), so a capped, random sample of pages misses them. It produces the shifting scan results privacy teams know too well: cookies that appear and vanish between runs with no change to the site. Iris, the patent-pending, cohort-based scanning algorithm from Ketch, closes that gap.

Signature based cohorts

Every page scan produces a tracker signature: the specific set of cookies, storage entries, and network calls observed on that page. Iris groups pages by that signature instead of their URL, so a three-million-page site resolves into a few hundred to a few thousand distinct cohorts, each covered by a minimum representative set of pages.

Real visitor simulation

Iris drives a real browser engine that scrolls, clicks, and fills forms to surface trackers that fire late. Because it observes from outside the page, it reads every cookie in the browser's storage, including third-party domain cookies that on-page code snippets cannot structurally see.

Compounding coverage

Every scan cycle splits its budget between confirming that known trackers still behave as expected and exploring unscanned territory for new cohorts and trackers, so coverage compounds cycle over cycle instead of resetting to a fresh random sample.

Hop-distance classification

Trackers are classified by how many hops removed they are from something you actually placed, so the tags you control are distinguished from vendors that arrived several ad-auction redirects downstream. Disclosure becomes a choice you make rather than a default buried in a vendor's methodology.

Go deeper

Data Sentry: real-time network traffic analysis

Tracker scanning tells you what is on your pages; Ketch Data Sentry shows you what those pages are sending. It analyzes real-time network traffic across websites and mobile apps, the actual data packets leaving your properties, to validate that opt-out and Global Privacy Control signals are enforced at runtime, detect authorized and unauthorized transfers of sensitive data to third parties, and generate the evidence privacy, legal, and security teams need for audits, investigations, and demand letter response.
